The ruins of Mistras with its variety of churches, palaces and the castle make you feel like visiting the Byzantine past of Greece.

•  Ancient Messene (Ithomi)

One of the largest archaeological sites in Messinia, just recently discovered and still under excavation.

•   Argolida (Epidaurus, Nafplio, Mycenae)

Epidaurus, the biggest healing and entertaining center of the Antiquity. Visit the largest and best preserved ancient theatre, famous for its acoustics. Mycenae, the historic citadel where the Homeric Palaces of Agamemnon is situated. The city features also the impressive and imposing Cyclopean Walls, the Lions Gate and numerous tombs of kings and princes. Nafplion, a picturesque city port, first capital of Greece.

•   Castles of the West-Peloponnese

Pylos is a picturesque village, with an amphitheatrically layout, built in the natural bay of Navarino. Koronis fortress, which was built by Byzantines, occupied by Venetians and then by Ottoman troops, is the major highlight of this unspoiled village. Methóni is undoubtedly the most impressive fortress, with its immense high walls and a small-fortified island, which can only be reached via a narrow cobbled causeway. Well worth a visit.

•   Athens Acropolis – City tour
